If you go down Nehru Road, right near the Chirkunda Telephone Exchange, that is where Apodictic Ceramic Pvt. Ltd. is located. It is a handy spot because everyone in the area knows where the telephone exchange is. We spend our days dealing with ceramics, which is more work than most people think. The yard gets filled with crates and there is always someone loading or unloading something. It gets a bit messy sometimes, especially when the weather is bad, but that is just part of the business. We have a small office near the front where we handle the orders and talk to people who drop by. It is not a place with polished floors or fancy lights. We have a few old fans that keep the air moving, and the walls have been the same color for ages. Chirkunda is a busy place, and being near the P.O. means there is always traffic going past. We have been here quite a while, and the neighbors all know us. Our staff is mostly local folks who have been working with ceramics since they were young. We just focus on the day’s orders and making sure the trucks get out on time. There is no big mystery to what we do here. It is just steady work with clay and heat. We like the routine of it and the fact that we know our way around the shop.
