Our shop is U-44 in the Super Market on MG Road. Jhawar Chowk is right nearby, so there’s always a lot of movement and people walking past. Being in the Super Market means we have neighbors on both sides selling all sorts of things. It’s not a very big shop, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. Sometimes we have to use a ladder just to find a specific part for a customer. MG Road is always busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. We keep the doors open to let some air in. Usually, it’s just two of us managing the counter and the repairs. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The market building is a bit dated, but it serves us well. We see the same faces every day, from the tea seller to the other shop owners. It’s a lot of manual work, checking boards and soldering things. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that work hard. People stop by to chat even if they aren't buying anything. It’s a friendly atmosphere in this part of town. We just open up in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down.
