Patel Solar

Our business is at Plot No. 46 on Vijaya Road. We’re right in the main market area, so it’s always busy and loud around here. Being near the bus stand means there’s a lot of people moving back and forth all day long, which keeps things interesting. Patel Solar is basically just us trying to help people get some use out of the sun’s energy. We have some panels displayed out front, but most of our stock is kept in the back room. The sun hits this side of the street pretty hard in the afternoons, which is good for showing how things work, I suppose. It gets very loud with the buses pulling in and out constantly, but you get used to the noise after a few weeks of working here. We don't have a polished sales pitch or a fancy office to show off. Most of the time, we’re just chatting with people who stop in while they are waiting for their next bus. It’s a very local kind of place. We spend a lot of time explaining how the metal brackets fit or how the wiring goes into the house. Some people are just curious, and that’s fine with us. We’ve been here at Plot No. 46 for a while now. The market is a good place to be because you never know who you’re going to meet next.
