Shri Sitaram Higher Secondary School

Our school is situated about 35 kilometers out from the main town, on Dev Prakash Narayan Marg in Dudhai, Kushinagar. The pin code is 274302. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you aren't living in the immediate area. The school is surrounded by a lot of open land and trees, giving it a very quiet and isolated feel compared to schools in the city. The building itself is quite old and has been patched up in several places over the years. We have a long veranda where the students line up for their classes. Since we are a higher secondary school, we deal with older teenagers who are mostly focused on finishing their final years of schooling. The classrooms are large but sparsely furnished. We have a small office near the main gate where we handle the admissions and fee collections. There isn't any fancy computer lab or sports complex, just a flat piece of ground where the boys play kabaddi or cricket. The teachers often stay back after hours to help students who have missed classes. It’s a very grounded place. We don't use any slick brochures to describe ourselves. We are just a local school trying to provide a place for kids in Dudhai to study and pass their exams so they can move on to whatever comes next.
