Our place is on the Old Ajmer Road, right in the industrial area. It’s a gritty part of town, always full of smoke and the sound of big engines. We’ve been here for years, and the yard hasn't changed much. We have these big cutting machines that use a lot of water to keep the blades cool. The ground is always muddy because of it. We deal with all kinds of industrial stone work. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find polished countertops for a luxury kitchen. It’s more about the heavy-duty stone used for big construction projects. My brother and I run things day to day. We have a few guys who handle the saws and the loading. We start work early, usually before the rest of the city is really awake. By the time the sun is high, we’ve already moved a few tons of stone. We don't use any fancy marketing. We don't even have a proper office, just a little shack with a desk and some old chairs. If you need stone, you come down to the Old Ajmer Road and look for us. We’ll show you what’s in the yard and give you a price. If it works for you, we load up your truck. If not, no hard feelings. That’s just how we do things here. It’s simple and it works for us. Sometimes the grease from the machines gets on everything, but that's just how it is.
