Kanakeswari Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Deogarh. Specifically, we are in Lulong. You can find us at Dambarudhar Kumura’s place. Deogarh is a nice area, quite green in some parts. We are a farmer producer company, which basically means we are a bunch of local folks trying to group our resources. Our office is quite basic. There’s a table, some chairs, and a lot of talk about the weather and the crops. The 768109 area is our home. We’ve been working on this for a while now. It’s not always smooth sailing. We have to deal with a lot of different opinions from the members. Sometimes it takes all afternoon just to decide on one small thing. We don't use any fancy business jargon. We just speak plainly about what needs to be done. The road to Lulong is okay, but it can be a long trip if you’re coming from far away. We spend our mornings checking the accounts and our afternoons visiting the fields. It’s a lot of physical work along with the mental stress of running a business. We aren't a high-tech firm. We use paper and pens for most of our stuff. It feels more real that way. We just keep plugging away, trying to make sure the company stays afloat and does its job for the local farmers. It’s what we do every day.
