Deogarh Farmers Producer Company Limited

Deogarh Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of the DRDA Building in Purunagarh. It is a pretty straightforward setup we have here. Being in a government-style building means things are quite official, but we keep our own space feeling more like a local hub. We spend most of our mornings talking to the farmers who come in from the surrounding Deogarh areas. They bring in their concerns and we sit down to talk through things over a plastic table. It gets a bit loud when the hallways are full of people, but we don’t mind the noise much. We don't have any big signs or neon lights, just the name on the door so people know where to find us. Purunagarh is a quiet enough place most of the time, and we like being right in the middle of it. The office is mostly filled with registers and maps of the local farm plots. It’s a lot of manual work, keeping track of who is growing what and when the harvests are coming in. We don't use any fancy software for everything, just good old pens and notebooks for the most part. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just open the windows and keep talking. It’s a practical way to run things, and it keeps us close to the people we are actually working with every day. We’ve been here for a while now and don't plan on moving to a different spot.
