Zainuddin Hair Saloon

Zainuddin Hair Saloon is right here on the Main Dadri Road in Salarpur Village. If you know Salarpur Kalan in Noida, you’ve probably walked past us a few times. It’s a simple shop. I’ve been cutting hair here for a long time now. The address is Salarpur 201008, and we are usually open early until quite late in the evening. Most of the men from the village come here for their weekly shave or a quick haircut before they go to work. We have a few chairs and the mirrors are old but they show you what you need to see. On Sundays, it gets really packed and people have to sit on the bench outside waiting their turn. We talk about everything—the weather, the traffic on Dadri Road, or what's happening in the local news. I don't use any fancy machines, just my scissors, a comb, and the straight razor for shaves. It’s dusty outside because of the main road, so I’m always wiping down the front glass and the chairs. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning that works all the time, but the fan keeps us cool enough for the work. I know most of my customers by name now. They don't even have to tell me how they want their hair cut anymore, I just know. That’s how it is in a small place like this. We just keep doing the work every day and it feels alright to be part of the village.
