X Cut Saloon

If you’re walking around Uttam Nagar, you might have seen X Cut Saloon. We’re located at A-6 in Sanjay Enclave. It’s a small shop in a very busy part of Delhi. We’ve been cutting hair here for quite a long time now. The space isn’t very big, so things can feel a bit tight when there are three or four people waiting their turn. We have a couple of chairs and the mirrors have seen better days, but they work just fine for what we need. We get all sorts of people from the neighborhood. Some come in for a quick trim, while others want a proper shave. It’s a noisy street outside, but inside we just chat about the weather or news and do our work. There’s always an old newspaper lying around for people to read while they wait. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. People just know where A-6 is. It’s a very simple setup. We keep our scissors sharp and the floor swept as much as we can throughout the day. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but nobody seems to mind it. It’s a local business through and through. We know almost all the families around here. It’s a decent way to make a living, just being part of the Enclave. We’re open most days.
