Water India

Our place is at Shop No 1 in the Vipin Garden Extension area of Uttam Nagar. It is a busy little corner. When you come into Water India, you will see rows of white plastic housings and filters everywhere. The floor is often a little damp because we are always testing something or checking a connection for a leak. It’s just how it goes with this kind of work. We have been in this shop for some time now, and we know the quirks of the pipes around here. The morning starts with checking the inventory and seeing what filters we need to restock. People walk in from the street asking about their home systems or looking for a specific pipe fitting. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk and some chairs where we sit and talk to folks. Outside, the street is always full of motorcycles and delivery vans. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a big shipment of tanks arrives and we have to stack them near the door. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to pass the time while we work on the pump assemblies. It’s a straightforward setup. No big decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a list of parts we need to order from the city. It feels like home to us after all these years spent in Uttam Nagar.
