Wahid Hair Saloon

Wahid Hair Saloon is over in Sangam Vihar at I-2, Gali No-2. We are situated right near Gupta Colony. It’s a very lively part of Delhi, and there is always something going on outside our door. The shop is small, just enough space for two chairs and a little bench for people waiting. We have a big mirror that’s seen better days, but it does the job. The walls are mostly covered with pictures of different hair styles from old magazines. We don't have fancy equipment, just our scissors, combs, and a couple of clippers. It gets very busy in the evenings when people are coming home from work. We know most of the people who walk through the door because they live right around the corner. It’s a place where you can hear all the neighborhood gossip. We don't have any air conditioning, so it gets pretty hot during the Delhi summers. We just keep the door open and the fan on high. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We aren't trying to be a high-end salon. We just provide a decent haircut for a fair price. Sometimes the kids from the street peek in to see what’s happening. We’ve been here for years and we plan to stay. It’s a humble shop, but it’s an important part of our lives. We hope to keep the scissors moving for many more years in this neighborhood.
