We are based in the basement of A-226 on Gali No-6 in Prem Nagar 3. This is part of the Gaurav Nagar 2 area in Kirari. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of narrow streets and houses close together. Working from the basement is actually quite nice because it stays a bit cooler when the sun is really hot outside. We started Vjs Enterprises as a small family venture. We mostly deal with trading and supplying various goods to local shops. The space is mostly used for storing our inventory and packing up orders to be sent out. It’s not a place for a fancy showroom. We have stacks of boxes almost to the ceiling sometimes. My wife helps with the accounts and our neighbor's son helps us with the loading. Kirari is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we feel right at home here. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to make sure we do our work right and keep our customers happy so they come back next time. The street can get quite crowded with rickshaws and people, so deliveries can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. But we’ve lived here a long time and we know how to manage. We don't use a lot of fancy technology, just a basic computer and our mobile phones to keep track of everything. It’s a simple, honest business.
