Vijay Sales

Our branch of Vijay Sales is situated in the Pitampura Residential Scheme 2 area. It’s a big, bright space filled with all kinds of electronics and home appliances. When you walk in, you’ll see rows of washing machines and stacks of boxed air conditioners. It’s often quite loud in here because we have the televisions turned on to show the picture quality, and there’s usually a hum from the air conditioning. The floors are hard tile, so you can hear everyone walking around. We spend most of our shift standing on our feet, talking to customers who want to know the difference between one fridge and another. It gets really packed on holidays and weekends, and sometimes it’s hard to move between the aisles. We keep the stock organized as best we can, but with new deliveries coming in every day, there’s always a pile of cardboard in the back. The staff room is small and mostly used for storing bags and eating quick lunches. We’ve been a part of the Pitampura neighborhood for a long time. People around here know where we are. We don’t try to be anything other than a big store with a lot of stuff. The glass windows out front get handprints on them constantly from people looking in, so we’re always wiping them down. It’s a busy, tiring place to work, but we like the energy of the crowds.
