Vanshika Ceramics

We've been here in Burari for a good while now. The shop is at Khasra No. 76/6/1 in Ajit Vihar, right near Shalimar Palace. Most days start early with the shutter going up and the dust being swept out from the night before. We deal with ceramics and tiles, so there's always a bit of heavy lifting to do. It’s not a fancy showroom like the ones you see in the big malls. It's a practical place. We keep the tiles stacked up, and sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a new shipment comes in from the trucks. People from the neighborhood stop by, maybe they're fixing a bathroom or just looking for a specific floor piece. Sometimes the tea guy from down the street comes by twice a day, and we take a break on the plastic chairs outside. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If you're looking for us, look for the palace landmark, we are just a short walk from there. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure things aren't cracked or chipped. It's hard work on the back, but it's what we do. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, but that's just how it is around here. We just try to keep things organized and help out whoever walks through the door with their home projects.
