We are located down at Ajmeri Gate, specifically at Shop No-4037/4105 on the Main Road Street. If you’ve been to this part of Delhi, you know how loud and crowded it gets with all the trucks and people moving around. Our place is right near Raghu Shree Market, so there is always something happening right outside the door. Anchor Wire Rope Company is basically what the name says. We deal with a lot of heavy wire ropes and all the hardware that goes with it. The shop is a bit cramped because those big reels of wire take up a lot of space on the floor. It’s a bit messy with the grease and the metal shavings sometimes, but that’s just the nature of the work we do here. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. The morning usually starts with us checking the stock and moving things around so people can actually walk inside the shop. It is a lot of heavy lifting, and by the end of the day, our hands are usually pretty dirty. We don’t have a big office or anything like that, just a desk where we keep the books and a few stools for whoever stops by to talk about their requirements. It’s a plain, straightforward operation. Most of our day is spent helping people figure out which thickness or length of rope they need for their cranes or lifting jobs. It’s just a normal shop on a very busy street.
