Our office is located at 1386 Nicholson Road, up on the first floor. If you know Kashmere Gate, you know how busy and cramped it gets around here. It’s a hub for all kinds of machinery and spare parts. We deal with various types of industrial equipment. It’s not a retail shop where people walk in off the street just to browse. Most of our visitors are looking for specific parts or machines for their workshops. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, and we’ve got boxes stacked up in the hallways sometimes. It’s just the reality of working in this part of town. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists to see what’s in stock. People call us when they can’t find a particular piece of equipment elsewhere. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we’ve seen the market change quite a bit. It’s a noisy area with all the horns and people moving goods, but it’s where the business happens. We try to keep things organized, though it’s a struggle when new shipments arrive. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just provide the tools and equipment that people in the industry need to keep their own businesses running. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking specifications to make sure things match up.
