You can find us right on the Tughlakabad Extension Main Road at TA-173/1. It’s a hectic spot with all the cars and bikes rushing past. Titu Water Suppliers is basically just a few of us and the delivery vehicles. We spend most of our time loading up cans and checking the route for the day. It’s heavy work, lifting those big bottles all the time. My back feels it by the evening. The shop is small, mostly filled with empty crates and the sound of the pump. We don't have air conditioning, so the summer months are pretty tough. We keep a fan going but it just moves the hot air around. We know most of the families in the nearby blocks because we go there every day. Sometimes they offer us water or a biscuit when we drop off the jars. We started with one old rickshaw and slowly got a bit bigger. It’s not a glamorous business. The road outside is always being dug up for some pipe or wire, so getting the truck out can be a headache. We just deal with it. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just have our number or they see the sign when they walk to the market. We just keep the water moving day after day. It's hard work but someone has to do it, and we are happy to be the ones here doing it for the neighborhood.
