You can find us at 313/314 in Tilak Bazar. This area is always full of activity, with trucks loading and unloading at all hours. The Pioneer Chemical Co. has been a part of this market for a long time. Our office is a bit old, with high ceilings and shelves that are sagging a little from the weight of all the files. We do not have air conditioning, just a couple of old ceiling fans that hum all day long. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street. It is a very practical way of doing business. We handle a lot of different chemicals, and we know exactly where everything is in the store, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. The tea stall nearby brings us snacks in the afternoon, which is the best part of the day. We do not use fancy words to describe what we do. We just supply what people ask for and try to be fair about it. It is a tough business sometimes, with prices changing and shipments getting delayed, but we just take it one day at a time and keep moving forward. There is always paperwork to catch up on before we close the doors.
