Ionic Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Pitam Pura. It’s a busy area and our space is mostly used for storing and moving chemical supplies. We’ve been in the trade for quite a long time now. Small and a bit cramped, the office usually smells like cleaning agents or industrial vinegar. Sample bottles and paper files fill the shelves, going back many years. It is not a very pretty place, just a functional one. Most of our day is spent checking inventory and making sure the drums are sealed properly before they go out. Many different industries call us when they need specific ingredients for their own manufacturing. Handling the distribution side of things is our main focus since we aren't a big factory ourselves. Since we first moved in, Pitam Pura has changed a lot, but we’ve stayed in the same spot. Knowing the local logistics well helps us figure out which transporters are reliable. Sometimes the traffic in the area makes deliveries difficult, but we manage to get things through eventually. There isn't a big sales team here. It’s just a few of us who know the products and the customers. We prefer to keep things simple and direct. People call us, they ask for a specific chemical, and we see if we have it in stock. It is just how we do things here and it has worked for years. We aren't doing anything fancy, just moving barrels and boxes every day for the businesses that need them.
