You can find us at F-106 in Dilshad Colony. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets in the city. We handle different kinds of products depending on what our customers are asking for at the time. The office is basically just a room filled with catalogs and samples of things we sell. We spend a lot of time on our scooters going from one shop to another to show what we have. Dealing with the wholesalers takes up most of the morning hours. We’ve been in this part of Dilshad Colony for several years now. The neighbors are used to seeing delivery vans stopping in front of our gate at all hours. It’s a family-run thing, so there’s almost always someone around to answer the door or take a message. We don’t have a big corporate structure with bosses. If something goes wrong with an order, we just figure out a way to fix it ourselves. The desk is usually a mess of invoices and scraps of paper with phone numbers on them. We take a short break for lunch when the heat gets too bad in the afternoon. It’s hard work keeping track of all the different orders, but we manage to get it done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside on the steps for a bit. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make a living and keep people happy.
