Sahu Silicons & Chemicals is located at A-94/7 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. If you know Wazirpur, you know it’s a place that never really stops moving. There’s always the sound of machinery and trucks going by. Our unit is tucked in among many others. We’ve been working out of this spot for years, and the walls have definitely seen better days. But the equipment works, and that’s what really matters to us. We handle silicons and various chemicals, so the air usually has a bit of a sharp smell to it. It’s not a place for people who like to keep their hands clean. We’re usually covered in something by the end of the shift. The office part of the building is just a couple of desks and some old filing cabinets that don't always close right. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. Most of our focus goes into the actual production and making sure the batches turn out okay. It can be a bit of a struggle when the power flickers, which happens more than we’d like, but we just get back to it. We aren't a big corporate entity with a PR team. It’s just a group of us working hard in a noisy industrial zone. We take our work seriously, even if we don't use a lot of big words to describe it. It's just what we do here in Wazirpur.
