Sahadara Aluminium Factory

Sahadara Aluminium Factory is located down in Lane No. 3 of Friends Colony. This is part of the larger industrial area right off the G. T. Road in Shahdara. It is a bit of a maze back here, and the roads are not always in the best shape, but we have been here for a long time. Our workshop is always full of the sound of metal being cut and shaped. Aluminium is a messy business, so there are always silvery shavings all over the floor, even though we sweep every evening. We don't have a fancy office or any air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that try their best in the heat. It is a local operation where everyone knows each other’s names. We get our orders from nearby businesses and some from further away, but we like staying here in Shahdara. The building is old and has some cracks in the walls, but it is sturdy enough for our heavy equipment. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to answer phones professionally. If the phone rings, whoever is closest to it just picks it up. It is a simple way of running things, and it keeps us busy. We mostly just focus on getting the aluminium pieces finished on time. We are just regular people working in a factory lane, trying to make an honest living every day.
