S R Lighting

You can find S R Lighting over at the Old Lajpat Rai Market. We’re in Stall Number 3A, on the ground floor of Diwan Hall in Chandni Chowk. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded and full of energy. Our stall isn’t very big, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into it over the years. It’s a bit of a tight fit sometimes when there are a few people inside at once. We spend our days surrounded by all sorts of lights and parts. It’s a bit bright in here, as you might imagine. We don't have a corporate office somewhere else; this stall is where everything happens. People come by while they’re out shopping in Chandni Chowk, often just looking for a specific part or a simple light for their home. We like the atmosphere of the market, even if it gets a bit loud and overwhelming on the weekends. We’ve been here long enough that the other stall owners feel like neighbors. We don’t really use fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just lighting. We open up in the morning, set things out, and talk to whoever walks in. There’s always something to organize or a box to move. It’s a small, honest operation. We’re just glad to be part of the market scene here in Old Lajpat Rai Market. Most days are busy, but that's how we like it, keeps the time moving along.
