S L Trading Co.

We spend most of our time up here on the 4th floor of Plot No. 9/111. Subhash Street is always loud and crowded, so it's a bit of a relief once you get inside. Getting things up the stairs is a workout though. Being in Shahdara means there’s always something going on outside the front side windows. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Most days it’s just us handling the trading work, checking boxes, and making sure the counts are right. It’s not fancy. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re too busy for that. S L Trading Co. is just a small operation. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries to show up. Sometimes the traffic in the lane gets so backed up that we just sit and watch from the balcony. It’s a typical day-to-day grind. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure things move along. The street noise becomes background music after a few hours. It’s a bit dusty in the summer, and the stairs feel steeper when it’s hot out. We keep things simple and try to stay organized, even when the paperwork starts piling up on the desks. It’s just how we do things here in this corner of Shahdara. Nothing more to it really. We just show up, do the work, and go home when the sun sets over the buildings nearby. It’s not the easiest place to work, but it suits us well enough for now.
