We are over at Plot No-E/295 in Jahangir Puri. It’s right near Prayag School, so you can always hear the kids playing or the bell ringing for classes. The lane is quite busy, especially in the mornings when parents are dropping children off. Our space is basically a big room where we keep all the materials and the finished pieces. It smells a bit like wood and glue most of the time. The floor is usually covered in some kind of scrap because we’re always in the middle of a project. We have a few benches where the work gets done. It’s not the most organized place, but we can find whatever we need in a minute or two. The light comes in through the front door mostly. We’ve got a small cupboard for our personal stuff and a kettle for making tea when it gets cold in the winter. Jahangir Puri is a crowded place, but we like being near the school because it feels lively. Sometimes people poke their heads in to see what we’re making. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the plot number on the wall. It’s a lot of manual work and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift. We just keep at it and try to get the orders ready on time every week.
