S A Spare Enterprises

Our shop is located at 1671/1672 on Dakhni Rai Street in Darya Ganj. It’s a very old part of town with narrow streets and lots of history. We’ve been here long enough to see the buildings around us change, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, filled with all sorts of spare parts. It’s a bit of a challenge to find things sometimes, but we know exactly where every little bolt and piece is kept. The air usually smells a bit like metal and old oil. It’s a busy street, so there’s always someone poking their head in to ask for a specific part. We don’t have a fancy catalog. We just know the inventory by heart. It’s a hands-on business. We spend most of our time climbing ladders or digging through boxes. It’s not a clean-shirt kind of job. We get our hands dirty every day. There’s a small desk in the corner where we handle the cash and the bills. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the wall. We just sell spares and try to help people find what they need so they can get their machines working again. Dakhni Rai Street can be a bit of a squeeze for cars, so most people come on foot or by scooter. We’ll be here from morning till evening, just like always, trying to keep up with the demand. It’s what we do.
