R L Jain & Sons is located at Plot No. 266 in Gali Phatak Karor, which is near Ajmeri Gate. We are just a short walk from the Chawri Bazar Metro Station, so the area is always incredibly crowded and full of life. It is one of those old parts of the city where the lanes are narrow and you can hear everything happening in the street. Our building has been here for a long time and it has a lot of history in the walls. We keep our stock piled up in the rooms at the back, and the front area is where we meet people who come in to see us. It is often very noisy with the sounds of rickshaws, bells, and people shouting to each other across the alley. We have a couple of old wooden desks that have been in the family for decades. There is always a pot of tea being shared and someone coming by to drop off a message or a delivery. Working in such a busy part of Ajmeri Gate means you have to be quick on your feet and ready for anything. The heat in the summer can be tough in these narrow galis, but we have our fans and our routine to keep us going. We aren't interested in being modern or flashy; we just like doing things the way they have always been done in this neighborhood.
