Pixel Led

Running a shop like Pixel Led near the Inderlok Metro Station is always interesting. We are right in the thick of things in Chandni Chowk where there is never a quiet moment. The noise from the trains and the crowds is just part of our daily life. Our space is packed with all sorts of LED lights and rolls of wiring. It’s quite bright inside even during the day because we are always testing something. The building is old and the stairs are a bit steep if you are coming up to see us. We spend a lot of time untangling wires or checking connections on the display boards. Chandni Chowk has a certain energy that you don't find anywhere else in the city. There are food stalls everywhere so we never go hungry but the traffic can be a nightmare if you're trying to move boxes. We have a small counter where we talk to people and it's usually covered in bits of tape and wire cutters. Sometimes it gets so crowded in the lane that we can barely see the street. We’ve got a small fan that barely does anything but we keep it running anyway. It's a busy life here and we are just another part of the market scene. Every morning we roll up the shutter and start again. It is a lot of work but it keeps us on our toes.
