Mehul Bhatnagar Designs

My design shop is located at No. 491 on the first floor. It is right opposite Dayanand Public School, which means the noise from the kids during the afternoon is something you just get used to after a while. We are also quite near the Sagar Cinema in the Nit area. I handle the design work here mostly by myself on a daily basis. The office is just one main room with a few desks and my computer setup. I spend most of my time looking at screens and trying to figure out layouts for people who walk in. It is not a big corporate design studio with fancy furniture. It is just a local place where I help neighbors and small businesses with their graphics. Whether it is a simple business card or a larger flyer, I just sit down and get it done. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow and steep, so carrying large boxes of prints up and down can be a bit of a chore sometimes. I started this because I enjoy the creative part of it, even if it means working long hours when a deadline is close. I don't use any fancy talk about branding or strategy. I just talk to people about what they like and try to make it look decent on paper. The area is always bustling, and I usually stay until the evening when the movie crowds start showing up at the cinema. It is a good little spot for a design shop.
