Satvik Travel

We have been running Satvik Travel out of this small office at E-20 Street No. 12 for a few years now. Mandawali is a crowded place and our spot near the Clock House is always noisy. If you are looking for the Snhbcs Lyt area, we are right in the middle of it. The office is mostly just a couple of desks, some old computers, and a lot of paper. I spend most of my day on the phone trying to fix ticket issues or looking up bus schedules for people. It’s a lot of stress when the trains are full and everyone wants to go home for the holidays at the same time. The street outside is narrow so there is always a motorbike or a rickshaw honking right at the door. I usually have a cup of tea sitting on my desk that I keep forgetting to drink because someone walks in with a complicated travel plan. We don't do much fancy advertising, people just know us because we’ve been here. Sometimes the internet goes slow and I have to apologize to whoever is waiting. It is a simple business where we just try to get people from one place to another without too much trouble. Mandawali has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of it. I like the busy atmosphere even when it gets a bit overwhelming during the wedding season.
