We’re tucked into Khan Market at number 53. If you know this market, you know it’s a lot of narrow stairs and busy shops everywhere you look. Our place has a lot of colors and drawings on the walls because we wanted it to feel a bit more lively. We do a lot of Asian dishes, so there’s always the sound of woks clanking and steam rising from the dumplings. It gets pretty loud when the place is full, which is most of the time during lunch and dinner. The staff is always on the move, carrying bowls of soup and plates of noodles up and down. We don't really go for that stiff, formal service you see in some other places around here. We’d rather just be friendly and get you your food while it’s still hot. We get all sorts of people coming in—shoppers, students, and folks who work in the nearby offices. Khan Market is a unique spot, and being at number 53 means we’re right in the thick of it. We spend our mornings checking the produce and making sure the sauces are prepped. It's a lot of chopping and stirring before the first customer even walks in. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone has enough to eat before they head back out into the market. It's busy, it's a bit chaotic sometimes, but we like it that way. No two days are really the same here. It keeps us on our toes.
