Our shop is at Number 7734 in the Sashi Building, right by the Subzi Mandi near the old Clock Tower. If you know the area, you know how crowded and loud it gets with all the vegetable sellers and shoppers. We’ve been here for years, and the Clock Tower is always our main point of reference. I’m usually surrounded by paint cans, ladders, and various cloths. As painters, we handle everything from small walls to larger local jobs. The Sashi Building is old and has a lot of character, much like the work we do. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a shiny office. People usually just find us by asking around the Mandi or seeing us out on a job with our brushes. It’s a dusty business, but we enjoy the transformation of a fresh coat of paint. Sometimes the smell of the market is overwhelming, but we’ve grown to like the buzz. My assistants and I start early to avoid the worst of the afternoon heat. We don't make big promises; we just show up and do the work. There’s no corporate ladder here, just me and a few guys trying to make a living. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the Clock Tower stays the same and so do we, just keep on painting whatever comes our way.
