M. M. Chemical Co.

The M. M. Chemical Co office is located at Number 210 on the first floor in Tilak Bazar. If you know the bazar, you know it is one of the busiest spots you can find. There are always people carrying bags and carts pushing through the narrow lanes. We are right in the middle of all that chaos. We deal with various chemicals, mostly sourcing them for local shops or small factories that do not want to buy in huge bulk. It is a small office, mostly filled with ledger books and sample bottles. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street looking for something specific. It can get pretty loud with the street noise coming through the windows, but you get used to it after a week. We do not have a big warehouse here; that is all handled elsewhere. This spot is more about the business side of things and making sure orders are correct. My father started this, and now we just keep it going. There is a certain way of doing things in Tilak Bazar that you will not find in the newer parts of town. It is all about relationships and knowing who has what in stock. We drink a lot of chai and talk to our neighbors while we wait for deliveries.
