L. D. Generators India is located over at Plot No 5278-A on Shardhanand Marg, right in the Bh-38 area near G B Road. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s always moving and can get quite loud with all the traffic and people. We’ve been set up here for quite some time now. Dealing with generators means things can get a bit oily and noisy, but that’s just part of the job. Our space isn’t very large, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time looking at engines and parts. The air usually smells like diesel and metal, which we’ve stopped noticing after all these years. It’s a practical place for practical work. We aren't big on sitting behind desks. Usually, we are out on the floor or out back checking the stock. G B Road is a landmark around here, so most people don’t have trouble finding us once they get close to Shardhanand Marg. Sometimes the power goes out in the neighborhood, which is ironic for a place like ours, but we just keep working with torches if we have to. It’s a family-style environment even if we aren't all related. We just get on with it and try to keep the machines running. We don't use much fancy equipment ourselves, just the tools that have worked for years. It's honest work and we stay busy every day of the week.
