L B Toys

Down in Gali No. 28 of Khajuri Khas, things are always a bit tight. Our plot at C-408 is filled with boxes of all sizes. L B Toys is a busy little operation in the heart of Bhajanpura. We spend our days packing up small items and making sure they’re ready to go out. It’s a maze of cardboard in here. The lanes outside are narrow, so getting deliveries in and out takes some real skill from the drivers. We’ve had a few scrapes on the walls because of it. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of tape dispensers and people calling out numbers. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just shelves piled high with stock. It gets pretty loud when everyone is working at once. We usually take our breaks together, sitting on some of the sturdier crates. The light in the back of the building isn't great, but we know where everything is even in the dark. It’s a bit of a scramble during the holiday seasons, but we manage to get through it. We aren't a big corporation; it’s just a local team doing the work. Sometimes we find a stray toy on the floor that fell out of a box. We just pick it up and keep going. It’s a messy, loud, and honest way to make a living here in Bhajanpura. We just do our best every day and hope the traffic isn't too bad when we leave.
