L & E India Pvt. Ltd. is situated on the first floor of Plot No. 326 in the Patparganj Industrial Area. Being in the F.I.E. block means we’re surrounded by factories and other small businesses. It’s a very practical environment. Our office is up one flight of stairs, and it’s a basic layout with desks, some computers, and a lot of shelving for our files. The windows look out over the industrial street, which is usually lined with delivery trucks and people moving boxes. It’s not the quietest place, as there’s always a machine humming or a siren somewhere in the distance. We spend most of our time coordinating things and making sure our schedules are met. It’s a lot of sitting and typing, interspersed with the occasional meeting around our old conference table. The air conditioning works okay, but on the really hot days, it struggles a bit. We don't bother with a fancy reception area. If someone comes to see us, they just walk right into the main work area. We’ve been in Patparganj for a while now and have gotten used to the way things work in this part of the city. We aren't doing anything spectacular, just our daily jobs and keeping the business moving along. Most of us have been working together for years, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed even when we have a lot on our plates. It’s a solid, everyday routine for us.
