About Krishna Modern Art – Safety & Security in Delhi
You can find us at Shop No. 426 in the Main Bazar. We are right near the Subzi Mandi, so there is always the smell of fresh vegetables and the sound of people haggling nearby. Krishna Modern Art isn't a gallery with white walls and fancy lights. It is a working shop. We have frames leaning against the walls and glass pieces waiting to be cut. There is sawdust on the floor most days. We do a bit of everything related to art and framing. People bring in old photos or new paintings they bought elsewhere. We sit here at the workbench and try to make them look decent. The Main Bazar is a hectic place, but we have been at No. 426 long enough that the chaos feels normal. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the tools. Sometimes we run out of a specific type of wood or the glass delivery is late, and we have to tell people to wait a few more days. They usually understand. It is a local business, through and through. We don't spend money on marketing because the foot traffic from the Subzi Mandi keeps us occupied. If you need something framed or a bit of advice on a piece of art, we are usually around.
