Kanika Glass & Aluminium

Kanika Glass & Aluminium is situated at Kasturi Market 6 in Mayur Vihar. It is a small shop but we keep a lot of glass sheets and aluminum frames tucked into the corners. If you walk through the market, you will see us by all the shiny surfaces and the sound of glass being cut to size. Mayur Vihar is a busy place, and Kasturi Market is always humming with people looking for stuff for their homes. We spend most of our time measuring things out and making sure the edges of the glass are smooth so nobody gets cut. The shop number 6 is where we do all the assembly, and sometimes the sidewalk gets a bit crowded with aluminum channels when we have a lot to do. It’s mostly just us and the tools, and the occasional customer who stops by to ask about a window frame or a mirror. The dust from the market can be a bit much sometimes, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass so it stays clear. We don't have any big signs or loud music, just the usual sounds of a working shop. Most days are about getting the measurements right and making sure the frames are sturdy enough. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us and the people who live in the apartments around here.
