Chauhan Glass & Aluminium Works

We've been at Uttam Nagar on Matiyala Road for a good while now. It's just a small shop, Rz 20, where we handle glass and aluminium stuff. Mostly people from around here come by when they need a window fixed or some aluminium frames for their shop fronts. It gets busy, especially in the afternoons, but we try to get things done right. My brother and I usually handle the cutting and fitting ourselves. Sometimes the glass breaks during transport, which is a pain, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything, just the tools and the materials piled up. If you walk down Matiyala Road, you'll see us near the corner. The traffic out front is always a mess, so parking is tricky. We do all sorts of jobs, big and small. Last week we spent three days at a house just doing balcony railings. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside and we’re working with metal. We started out with just a few hand tools and have slowly added a couple of machines over the years. It’s a decent living. We know most of the shopkeepers on this stretch of road. We don't spend money on ads because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough. People just know where to find Chauhan Glass & Aluminium Works when they need something sturdy. It’s just us doing what we know how to do.
