Christmas Gift Box

Christmas Gift Box is located near Ghantaghar Chowk, close to the Kamla Nagar Sabji Mandi. It’s a very busy area with people buying vegetables and household items all day. Our shop is tucked away near the mandi. We mostly make and sell boxes for gifts. It’s funny because even though our name is Christmas Gift Box, we stay busy all year round for weddings and birthdays. The shop is filled with cardboard, ribbons, and different kinds of paper. It’s a bit of a mess because there’s always something being glued or cut. We are a small family-run business. My kids sometimes help with the packing during their school holidays. It’s not a high-tech operation. We use scissors, rulers, and a lot of glue. People come in looking for something specific, and we try to find it in the stacks. The noise from the Sabji Mandi is always there in the background. It’s a lively place to work. We don't have a fancy sign, just the name on the door. Some days the humidity makes the paper curl, which is a real pain. We just do our best to keep things moving. We’ve lived in this neighborhood forever, so we know everyone around here. It’s a simple life selling boxes in a busy market. We enjoy the chaos of the area even if it's a bit loud at times.
