Christmas Gift Box

Christmas Gift Box is based in Chawri Bazar, inside Sudershan Market at No. 3618/2. If you know this part of the city, you already know how packed and narrow the streets get. Every morning involves moving piles of boxes around just to make enough space to walk through the shop. We deal with all sorts of gift boxes and packaging materials every single day. The market is always full of people shouting and handcarts moving goods back and forth. It’s a lot of paper and cardboard smells in here, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We’ve been in this particular spot for quite a while now and the walls are lined with stacks of materials reaching all the way to the ceiling. It feels a bit like a cave sometimes, but it is a very productive one. We don’t really have a fancy showroom or anything like that for people to look at. Customers come in knowing exactly what they need and we pull the items from the tall stacks in the back. Chawri Bazar has its own busy rhythm, and you just get used to the chaos after a few months of working here. The stairs up to our section of Sudershan Market are quite narrow, so we have to be careful when moving the heavier bundles. It’s not a quiet place to work, but it’s where all the trade happens for us.
