Jugmander Das Prem Chand Jain

Jugmander Das Prem Chand Jain is the name on our sign, and we are located at Plot No- 2771 on Qutab Road. We are right in the middle of Sadar Bazar, which anyone will tell you is one of the busiest places you could choose to work in. It’s always crowded, and the noise from the market never really stops from morning until evening. We are quite close to where the Punjab Add The Bank used to be, or where people still remember it being. The shop itself is packed with all sorts of things we’ve collected over the years. It feels more like a warehouse sometimes than a storefront. We’ve got stuff tucked into every corner and up on high shelves that we need a ladder to reach. It's a family thing, so there’s always someone around who knows the history of the place. We don't go for any of that modern office look. Our desks are old, and the ledgers are usually piled up somewhere near the phone. When the weather gets hot, the market feels even more packed, but we just stay inside and keep at it. Customers come in looking for specific parts or bulk items, and we do our best to find them in the maze of boxes. It’s a bit of a workout just walking from the front to the back of the plot. We like it this way, though. It feels real.
