Jagjit Singh

I am working out of Sarwana Apartment in Mayur Vihar Phase-1. The address is number 9, and it is right near the Samachar Apartment complex. Since this is mostly a residential area, it stays fairly quiet during the day when most people have gone off to their offices. I started doing this work from my home because it was a lot simpler than trying to rent a big commercial shop. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it is just a package delivery, but other times it is someone looking for help with a project. Living and working in the same place means I am usually around if someone needs me. The balcony looks out over the street below. It gets a bit noisy in the late evenings when the kids come out to play near the main gate. I have a desk set up in the front room of the flat. It has all my papers and my computer. My neighbors all know what I do for a living, so they don't mind the occasional visitor coming through. Mayur Vihar is a good place to be based because everything you need is close by. I just walk down to the local market if I need more supplies. It’s a very simple setup. I don't have a big team or fancy office chairs. It is just me and whatever work comes my way. I spend a lot of my time on the phone or typing. It is just Jagjit Singh working from home.
