559 Old Lajpat Rai Market is where we spend most of our lives. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know it’s loud, it’s busy, and there’s always something happening in the lanes. We’ve been here at Arora Electronics for a long time. The shop is tucked into the rows of other businesses, and we like the energy of the place. It’s not the kind of spot where you have a lot of elbow room, but we make it work. We’ve got stuff piled up on shelves and we know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else walking in. We get all kinds of people coming through the doors. Some are looking for something specific, and others are just browsing the market. We don't have a fancy marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us. We wake up, open the shutters, and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the fan makes a little bit of noise, but it’s our spot. We’ve seen a lot of shops come and go in Old Lajpat Rai Market over the years. We’re glad to still be here. It’s a tough environment sometimes with the heat and the crowds, but it’s where we belong. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay busy with the work we have.
