Himalaya Printers

Himalaya Printers is located at Plot No 290 in the Sant Nagar area of East of Kailash. We are very close to the main market, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and people shouting outside. The shop is a bit cramped because we have the printing presses taking up most of the room. They make a rhythmic thumping sound that you just stop hearing after a few hours of working here. There are stacks of paper everywhere, from bright neon flyers to thick cardstock and cardboard boxes. We’ve been here for years, and the walls are covered in samples of things we printed a decade ago that have since faded into a yellowish color. It’s a bit of a dusty environment because of all the paper and the ink, but that’s just how it is. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit on the front step and watch the people going into the market until it comes back on. Our sign is a bit old and the letters are starting to peel, but everyone in the neighborhood knows where we are anyway. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us, the machines, and a lot of ink. We stay busy with the local shops needing their menus or bills printed. It’s a noisy place but it is where we have always been. We keep the machines running until late and then we lock up.
