We are Ganpat Singh Road Constructions & Contractor. Our main office is at B-461, Street Number 10 in New Seemapuri. It’s right in B Block. If you know where the State Bank of India is in New Seemapuri, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a busy neighborhood in Delhi. We do road work and general contracting. Most of our time is spent out on actual sites, so the office is often just a place to store tools and do the payroll. My name is Ganpat, and I started this with just a few workers and a lot of grit. The streets here are narrow, so we have to be careful moving the big equipment in and out. We aren't a big corporate firm with secretaries. Usually, I'm the one answering the phone or my nephew helps out. We’ve paved a lot of the local roads around this part of the city. It’s hard, hot work, especially in the summer months. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just show up and lay the asphalt or the concrete. People around here know who we are. We’ve been in this same spot for years. The neighbors are used to seeing our trucks parked nearby. We just do our job and go home. It’s a simple life built on manual labor and honest deals.
