We are based in the Okhla Industrial Estate Phase I, specifically at the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-Ii, B-6/8. It’s a massive area with a lot of trucks and workers moving around all day long. Freight Systems Pvt Ltd has been here for quite some time now. The environment is very industrial. There’s always the sound of machinery or engines nearby. Our office is a mix of desks and storage space. We handle a lot of logistics, so there’s always paperwork piled up and phones ringing. It’s not a place for someone who likes total silence. The building at B-6/8 is sturdy and functional. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s mostly maps and schedules. In the summer, it gets pretty hot in the warehouse area, but we have some fans going. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the local stalls in the industrial estate. It’s a gritty part of the city, but it’s where all the real work happens. We focus on getting things from one place to another without too much fuss. People who work here are used to the fast pace. It’s a lot of coordination between different departments. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor. We just make sure the shipments are moving and the records are kept straight in our Phase I and Phase II spots.
