Fortune Electro India

Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase II is where you’ll find us at number 14. It’s a noisy part of town with all the factories running, but it’s home for Fortune Electro India. We work on electrical components and parts. It isn't a clean office job. There’s always some wire or piece of metal on the floor. We spend most of the day fixing things or checking orders. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s when we take a break. Most of our neighbors are also doing industrial work, so we help each other out if a tool breaks or someone needs a hand. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work with what we have. Shelves are stacked up to the ceiling with boxes. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we're too busy for that. We’ve been at this address for a good while. Traffic in Mayapuri can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries out early. It’s just honest work with electricity and circuits. Nothing too complicated to explain. We show up, do the jobs that come in, and go home. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait for it to come back. That’s just how it is here. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. It's more about working with your hands and making sure parts are right.
