Fairdeal Electronics

Fairdeal Electronics is at Shop No. 685 in the Old Lajpat Rai Market, which is right opposite the Red Fort. It is a very famous spot, and the whole market is packed with small shops selling all kinds of gadgets. Our shop is quite small and every inch of the walls is covered with electronic components, wires, and spare parts. It is often a bit dark inside and we have to use a few extra lamps to see the smaller items. The market outside is always incredibly loud and crowded with shoppers and laborers carrying loads on their backs. We have been here for a long time and have seen the market change over the years. We do not have any fancy marketing or a big sign. Most people come to us because they are looking for a specific part that is hard to find elsewhere. We spend our days digging through boxes and talking to customers who are trying to fix their electronics at home. It is a very hands-on job and we often get our hands a bit dirty with dust and old parts. There is no air conditioning, so we just rely on a small table fan to keep us cool during the Delhi summers. It is a chaotic place to work, but there is a great sense of community among the shopkeepers here. We are just one small shop in a very large and busy market.
