We are based in Plot No. 2 at the C.S.C. Dda Market in Karkardooma. It is a good spot for us because we are quite close to the Cross River Mall, so there is always something going on nearby and plenty of places to grab food. The office is inside the Dda Market complex, which has a lot of small shops and local businesses all packed together. We have got some desks and a lot of folders filled with drawings and fabric swatches lying around on every available surface. It looks a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time, but we know exactly where everything is. Most of our day is spent either on the phone or out at different sites checking how the work is progressing. When we are actually in the office, we are usually huddled around a computer looking at layouts or talking about materials. It is not a huge space, but we have enough room to meet with people and show them some samples. The market can be quite noisy in the evenings when everyone is out, but it is quiet enough in the mornings to get some real work done. We do not have a big sign or anything flashy outside our door. We just have our name written on a small board. It has been our base for a while now and we like being in this part of Delhi.
